Epic Games is opening up its Fortnite money vault to award 37 game development teams with a total of $1 million in Unreal Dev Grants, the publisher and engine maker announced this morning.

Established in 2015 as a $5 million fund, the Unreal Dev Grants program awards $5,000 to $50,000 to developers and studios making projects (games, VR, AI, educational, development tools and plug-ins, etc.) with the Unreal Engine toolset. Epic hands out these grants three-to-four times a year, a spokesperson said, and New Reality Co. is receiving one for the third time since the program debuted.

Raji: An Ancient Epic is one of 37 game development teams which received grant from Epic Games.

Raji: An Ancient Epic (Nodding Head Games):

This action-adventure game set in ancient India. You play Raji, a young girl chosen by the gods to stand against the demonic invasion of the human realm, saving her younger brother in the process.

It's amazing how much creativity can be unlocked with the right support. I've been experimenting with AI tools lately, and it’s truly mind-blowing what’s possible. I recently tried out Nana Banana 2 for some project mockups, and the speed and quality of the images it generated were just incredible. It made me think about how grants like this can really help developers push the boundaries even further. Congrats on the win!

Raji: An Ancient Epic sounds like a great example of how cultural storytelling can bring something fresh to action-adventure games. It’s nice to see Epic supporting smaller teams using Unreal Engine, especially when the project has a unique setting like ancient India. I enjoy discovering games with simple access and strong identity too, from indie titles like Raji to browser games such as Block Blast.

The physics are simple but feel consistent enough to keep improving with practice. eggy car rewards patience more than luck.

I was looking for Drive Mad after seeing it mentioned in another gaming forum. Runs smoothly in my browser without needing to install anything.

Wow, it's so cool to see indie developers getting this kind of support! I was actually just reading about how much goes into the art for games like Raji, and it got me thinking about the tools we use. It's amazing how far AI has come in helping with creative assets; I've been experimenting with Ideogram 4 lately, and the text rendering is seriously impressive for image generation. Congrats to Raji!
